Herefordshire is for Young People to be actively involved in their communities and for communities to value, support and engage their Young People.

Rob (Community First) – Throughout 40 plus years of work, communities have been the constant theme – though I have at different points been a teacher, a social worker, a teacher trainer, a writer, and conservation manager. For 13 years, I was the paid manager of a large Council owned community centre in North London but have always been on the management committees of at least two voluntary organisation. All of this experience means that being adviser to the committees who run community facilities is exactly the right job for me and I get huge satisfaction in making the lives of those brave volunteers just that little bit easier by giving the right advice at the right time.
